Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Ampla Inc. ("Ampla", "we", "us") for use of amp.la, its job boards, career help, the employer portal and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services or submitting a form, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Services for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company to these terms.

2. What Ampla is, and isn't

Ampla is a job marketplace and a recruiting firm. Employers post roles, candidates apply or share their profile, and we connect the two, either by matching them automatically with our tools or by introducing them ourselves. We also help candidates with their resumes. Automatic matches follow the same rule as everything else: we only share a candidate's details with an employer after the candidate agrees (see section 3). We are not an employer of the candidates we place, unless we say so in writing. We don't guarantee that any candidate will get a job, or that any employer will make a hire.

3. Candidates

• Your information. What you send us must be true and yours to share. Don't include other people's private information.
• Keeping and using your information. You agree that we can keep your resume, work history and details in our database, and use them to match you with current and future roles and to contact you about them, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@amp.la.
• Sharing with employers. We only share your resume or details with an employer after you agree.
• Applying is free. Applying for jobs and creating a profile cost nothing.

4. Career help

• Free AI first pass. A free first pass is written by AI and emailed to you automatically. It is labeled as AI generated and is not reviewed by a person. It can contain mistakes. Use your own judgment.
• Clean resume. A clean resume is made by AI from the resume you sent, using only the information in it. Read it before you use it. You are responsible for what you send to employers.
• Paid services. The recruiter resume review ($49), review plus a 30-minute call ($149) and clean resume ($5, free when you apply to an Ampla job) are priced as shown on the site when you order. Payment is made through our payment processor. Prices can change for future orders.
• Coupons. Coupon codes are issued at our discretion, have no cash value, can be limited in uses or services, and can be turned off at any time.
• Refunds. Full refund if we haven't started your review. Once your notes or files are sent, the service is final.
• No guarantee. Career help is advice. It doesn't guarantee interviews, offers or any outcome.

5. Employers

• Accounts. Keep your login private. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may approve, edit, decline or remove job posts, and disable accounts that break these terms.
• Job posts. Posts must be for real, lawful jobs, describe them accurately, and follow employment and anti-discrimination laws. You are responsible for your hiring decisions and for complying with employment law.
• Your information. You agree that we can keep your and your company's details in our database and contact you about hiring and our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
• Placement fees. Recruiting and placement fees, if any, are set in a separate written agreement between your company and Ampla. That agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms.
• Candidate information. Candidate information we share with you may be used only to consider that candidate for your role. Keep it confidential, and don't share it or add it to other databases without our written OK.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Services. For example: don't submit false information, scrape or copy the job boards or our data, try to break our security or spam protection, upload malware, or use the Services to harass anyone or break the law.

7. Our content and yours

The site, job boards, guides and our other content belong to Ampla or our licensors. You keep ownership of what you submit. You give Ampla a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, process (including with AI tools) and use your submissions to provide and improve the Services and as described in our Privacy Policy. This license continues for information we keep under that policy, and ends for your personal information when we delete it at your request.

8. Email from Ampla

By submitting a form, you agree that we can email you about your request. Marketing and business-development emails from Ampla include an unsubscribe link or instructions and our mailing address, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Service emails about something you asked for (like your review or files) may still be sent after you unsubscribe from marketing.

9. Business transfers

If Ampla is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of its business or assets, we may transfer these terms, your account and the information we hold, including our candidate and company databases, to the buyer or successor.

10. Disclaimers

The Services, including AI-generated content, are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that job posts from employers are accurate.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Ampla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, wages, data or opportunities. Ampla's total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Ampla for the service at issue in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover Ampla's reasonable losses and costs from claims that arise from your submissions, your job posts, your hiring decisions, or your breaking these terms or the law.

13. Ending use

You can stop using the Services at any time, and ask us to delete your information. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (like sections 7, 10, 11, 12 and 14) survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence requires otherwise. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and both sides agree to those courts, except that either side may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court where it lives. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including California law for California residents.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new date at the top. Material changes apply from the date posted for new use of the Services. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.
